About the Club

• Valencia Club de Fútbol was founded on March 18, 1919, in a bar in the city center by a group of friends led by Octavio Augusto Milego. The club played its first official match in 1921.

• Since 1923, the club has played at Mestalla Stadium, one of the oldest and most iconic stadiums in Spain, a true symbol of Valencian identity.

• Valencia has won 6 La Liga titles, 8 Copa del Rey trophies, and 1 Spanish Super Cup, as well as international titles like 1 Cup Winners’ Cup, 1 UEFA Cup, and 2 UEFA Super Cups.

• In the early 2000s, under Rafa Benítez, the club enjoyed a golden era, winning two La Liga titles (2002 and 2004) and the UEFA Cup (2004).

• Valencia promotes local talent through its youth academy, Academia VCF, and is known for its competitive and spirited style of play.
