About the Circuit
The Circuit de Catalunya, located in Montmeló, Barcelona, was established in 1991 and is a key venue for Formula One and MotoGP.
It has hosted the World Road Motorcycle Championship since 1996, with races planned to alternate with MotorLand Aragon in the future.
Designed by architect Hermann Tilke, the track originally served as a test site for the Spanish car industry and features 16 corners along 4.655 km, including a 1.047 km straight.
Known for its challenging layout with varied elevation changes, it has become popular among drivers and fans alike.
